4th of July
The Village of Heyworth celebrates its nation's birthday (4th of July) with excitement and pride! Come to the Heyworth Centennial Park for a day full of fun and events, such as a fishing derby, a mud volleyball tournament, food, music and a fireworks display that's hard to beat!!!
Fishing Derby:
The 4th of July fishing derby begins at 7:00 a.m. and has trophies for all ages for the largest fish. To participate in the fishing derby, please complete and submit the waiver, revised during the COVID-19 pandemic, to the Heyworth Village Hall.
Mud Volleyball Tournament:
The 4th of July Mud Volleyball Tournament begins at 8:00 a.m. To sign your volleyball team up, please complete and submit the waiver, revised during the COVID-19 pandemic, to the Heyworth Village Hall. The fee for each team is $40.00. Please stop by the Village Hall to sign your team up with your team name. Your fee and waivers will need to be turned in by July 1st to the Village Hall.
Music:
The Village has recorded music played by a disc jockey beginning around 7:00 p.m. and until the fireworks display is completed, including patriotic music that makes you proud during the explosive fireworks display!
Food & Drinks:
Enjoy a variety of food and drinks (no adult beverages allowed) throughout the day!
Fireworks:
The Heyworth Fireworks display is hard to beat! Come see why both residents and visitors alike say "it's the best fireworks display I've ever seen!"
